It forced me to grow up before I was ready, to figure out life without the kind of support every child deserves. And on top of that, my dad was in prison \u2014 which brought its own kind of heartbreak, confusion, and disappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I learned early what it feels like to be let down by the people you wanted to trust the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a long time, I carried those wounds silently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn\u2019t have a place to speak, to process, or to simply be held by grace.
